Milo All Day — A Lunch That Knew Exactly When to Stop There is something deeply satisfying about a lunch that understands its assignment. Milo All Day could have easily turned into one of those meals where curiosity gets the better of you and the table fills up with dishes. Instead, this one landed almost perfectly: a half order of cast-iron cornbread, three mini hot chicken tacos, and a Dog Day Afternoon cocktail. I arrived around 11 and took a seat at the bar with no wait. That immediately set the tone. No fighting a lunch crowd, no standing around wondering when a table would open. Just sit down, order, and eat. The first thing that stood out when the food arrived was the presentation. The half portion of cast-iron cornbread came cut into substantial wedges, golden across the top, with a little honey glistening over it and coarse salt catching the light. On the side was the jalapeño bacon cheddar cream cheese, which turned out to be exactly why ordering the half portion was such a smart move. I ordered the pimento cheese appetizer. There was no way to tell based on the menu that it was going to be spicy and include hot sauce mixed into the food. I've never had pimento cheese that looks like Spanish rice. I explained that I have a severe jalapeño allergy (before I ordered) so I am not accustomed to anything spicy. They charged me for the appetizer anyway. They were out of cream for the coffee, their expresso machine was broken and they didn't have any salmon for the Lox menu item. I would not reccomend this place.

We ended our last night in Waco here after an incredible week at the REFIT® RECON Convention, and it was the perfect way to wrap up the trip. After days of workouts and convention activities, this was by far the best meal we had all week! The atmosphere was warm, beautiful, and so inviting. I don’t know the story behind them, but I loved spotting the little Star Wars references tucked throughout the restaurant—they were such a fun and unique touch. Between the gorgeous plants and the cozy ambiance, it was a place I could have stayed for hours. I also ordered my favorite drink from the menu, which made the experience even better. Then the food arrived…and wow! The burger was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had, and the homemade pimento cheese deserves its own five-star review. It was hands down the best pimento cheese I’ve ever tasted! Everything about this dinner—from the food to the atmosphere to the outstanding service—made it the perfect ending to an unforgettable week in Waco. If you’re visiting, don’t miss this place!

We were celebrating a wedding dinner in our family. The staff were nice and patient. We ordered a variety of food items - herb fries, mad burger, fried chicken miso caesar salad, strawberry walnut salad, margaritas, barbacoa mac n cheese, corn ribs, red fish shrimp etoufe and pork chops. The margaritas were strong and liked by everyone. The fries were superb. The salads were fresh and the burger was meaty. The barbacoa mac n cheese was rich and decadent. The corn ribs were tasty and tangy. The staff were kind enough to provide a gift card to the married couple. We were well taken care of. The place is huge and has unique and beautiful decor.

We had an incredible experience at Milo and sat at the bar to enjoy the deviled eggs, pimento cheese and brussels sprouts. You have to tey the deviled eggs, divine! Everything was delicious and you could tell there was love from the kitchen in the dishes. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting. Great service at the bar too!
